and around Oban and the group can decide what they wish to
see. There will be an opportunity to visit the local Whisky
distillery.
Day 4
This is "cruise" day. Your guide will go with you
on the ferry from Oban to the island of Mull. You will
take a minibus across the island and board the Taurus Mara
Cruise for an excursion to "Fingal's cave" on the
small island of Staffa, from there by the same boat to the
Isle of Iona - the birth place of Christianity in Scotland
- and then back by bus to the ferry for Oban

Lomond from the picturesque village of Luss. On arrival
in Glasgow, your driver will take you on a short tour to gain
an impression of the past richness of this industrial city

of the city close to restaurants and pubs for which Glasgow

Heritage Village - a top attraction in Scotland. More
than 200 years ago the cotton mills of New Lanark were built
on a gorge on the Clyde river. In an age of "hellish"
industrial factories, the founder of New Lanark - Robert Owen
- offered his workers and their families good houses, respectable
wages, free health care and an Education system!! New Lanark
became world famous. Today you can wander round the newly
restored village and feel how the people lived over 200 years
ago.

Town, the castle, the Palace of Holyrood and the new modernistic
Scottish Parliament building

round the Old and New Town, enjoy shopping on Princes Street
and the atmosphere of one of the oldest and most beautiful
towns in Europe
